Scoutmaster minutes (8/15/17)

Looking forward to the campout on the 25th, the scouts prepared a menu and took a poll on who would be attending. The scouts who signed up so far are:

• I.S.
• T.W.

If you were not at the meeting, please let the Scoutmaster know if you are interested in attending.

Below is the menu that was planned out:

Friday

Cracker Barrel: Slim Jims

Saturday

Breakfast: Scrambled Eggs, Sausage, Bacon, Apples, Milk

Lunch: Sloppy Joes, Bananas

Dinner: Pocket Pizzas, Apples

Cracker Barrel: Potato Chips

Sunday

Breakfast: Danishes

Finally, the Scioto Grove Metro Park is holding a free Eclipse Celebration event. For those scouts who are not in school, and want to attend, we will meet there around 1-1:30. This is a family event so everyone is invited. Unfortunately, the Grove City library is all out of eclipse glasses. If you don't have eclipse glasses, Boy's Life has an excellent article on how to make a viewer using a shoe box. Logistically, I don't know how crowded it will be or which shelter house they are going to hold the event at so if you want you can call/text me and we can figure out where to meet once inside the park
